PROGRAMS

Lazos Al Futuro provides the following programming year-round to 30 student leaders involved in the program in the northeast region of the Dominican Republic. The organization currently has two locations in Santiago and Luperon, Puerto Plata.

SponsorshipWith only 3$ a day we are able to meet the basic needs of our youths that are barriers of entry to a successful education. Many of our youth lack basic essentials such as uniforms, glasses, medical check ups and more. Our team not only wants to mentor them, but sponsor their education. Sponsorship aids and supports 1 of our 30 students for the full academic year as part of our commitment to them.

EDUCATIONAL TRAINING

We provide discussions with experts that make our student leaders more well-rounded. From financial literacy training to health and wellness, our team hosts monthly meetings that broaden our students' perspective of the world around them.

Counseling and MentorshipLazos Al Futuro has trained staff and counselors that are paired with our youth on a 1:1 basis. All participants are enrolled in case management programs based on their initial in-take and enrollment. Our youth are also paired with a mentor focused on identifying and tracking their career goals.

COUNSELING AND MENTORSHIP

All Lazos Al Futuro leaders are paired with a mentor to identify and track their career goals and aspirations. We believe that if you can see it, you can be it.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

A foundational area for Lazos Al Futuro is community outreach. Lazos Al Futuro makes a difference in our student leaders and empowers them to be active community members. As we pour into them, we want them also to give back to others. We are firm believes that you lead from where you are. Our student leaders organize beach clean-ups, food and toy drives, and more in their communities with the support of Lazos Al Futuro and its staff.
